What The NBA GM's Survey Said About The Chicago Bulls Doesn't Matter

The Chicago Bulls need not to worry about what the majority think of them. The NBA General Managers Survey at the end of the day has no real merit and is just based on mere opinion. Even if it may be from important people like the NBA GM’s, it shouldn’t stop the Bulls from realizing the heights they can go to and their ultimate championship goal.

It’s no surprise that the clear favorite, once again, is the Miami Heat. The majority of the GM’s chose the Heat to not only win the Eastern Conference, but to fulfill their three-peat. As a matter of fact, they pretty much predicted a Finals rematch, with the San Antonio Spurs receiving most of the votes with a 40.0 perencet chance to win the Western Conference. Also, when the survey asked who will come out on top of the Eastern Conference, Miami received 86.2 percent of the GM’s votes, with the Indiana Pacers coming in second place with 10.3 percent and Chicago in third place with 3.5 percent. Are you really kidding with this prediction?

As the season draws near, the Bulls have more than just the basketball fans to prove wrong. They must prove wrong all of the NBA and its general managers and what their survey had to say about the their odds to even be a title contender. If the Bulls can block the outside noise and stay focused as a team on what they want to accomplish this year, they will be sure to rip that survey to shreds and start a new one.

The 2014 NBA champions will be the Chicago Bulls!
