Curry Defense Golden State Warriors

Kyle Terada – USA Today Sports

Well, it appears that Seth Curry is not going to get the family discount this time. The Golden State Warriors have cut the younger brother of Stephen Curry, and it appears the D-League could be an option for the younger Curry this season. They do not keep in the family I guess.

We will have to see how this plays out, but here is hoping Curry does not take this personally and continues to work hard. We learn more from our failures than our successes folks. That is just the hard truth. Success is definitely more enjoyable to be sure, but it likely does not come in its purest form until you have been through the fire a little bit. That is the way it works, but it has kind of a beautiful symmetry to it.

Was at the Iowa Energy’s open D-League tryouts earlier this month and will definitely have to try and catch some of their games this season. Who knows? We might even be seeing the youngest Curry out there for the squad. In any case the Warriors did this because they have a fantastic team, and it is not any knock on the young guard at all.

He clearly has a quality basketball pedigree, and we will just have to see if he can claw his way back into the league before the year ends.

Stephen Curry Puts On A Clinic Against Spurs

NBA fans and media alike were incredibly excited for the first meeting of the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors this season, and many expected an uber-competitive game to take place on Monday night. Well, the game was enthralling, but not very competitive. Stephen Curry put on a clinic, and was dribbling circles around the Spurs throughout. Here's some evidence. If that floater wasn't epic enough, in the second-half Curry added this drive in which he pulled the magic out on Jonathon Simmons.
