The NBA is finally upon us after a four-month hiatus with the Chicago Bulls visiting the defending champion Miami Heat on opening night on Tuesday. The game, on paper, is nothing short of mouthwatering due to the fact that this will be the very first game that Derrick Rose plays after missing the entirety of last season. What better way to test yourself then away to the reigning champions?

Exactly, there are none.

Lebron James will have a lot of work to do in this game as it is not expected to be as easy as last season’s playoff series as their heart and soul is finally back to lead them on the court. James versus Rose is what this game will be all about in addition to the coaching battle, defensive and offensive plays and he cheering and jeering of the ecstatic fans.

Another food for thought: this could very well be a preview of this season’s Eastern Conference Finals as both will be extremely difficult to defeat in seven games in the playoffs. They are strong on both ends of the ball and have the players to back up that statement.

Miami have made it to the last three NBA Finals winning the last two of those. They will be going for the three-peat but a healthy Chicago side will make that ever so difficult.

Prediction: Miami loses this opening game tomorrow night allowing the visiting Bulls to make a huge statement in the very beginning of this brand new season.
