Miami Heat Looked Hungry In Win Over Chicago Bulls With Full Team Effort
Shane Battier goes four for four from three point range; Norris Cole is finishing close range shots, and Chris Bosh even hit a three pointer as well. It was definitely a team effort from the Heat, and even though LeBron James had his typical all around brilliant performance it was the team aspect that stood out for the defending champs.
“You never know what to expect when you’re trying to keep the main thing the main thing, and that’s the game,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said to ESPN. “But you can’t deny the emotions and what a special moment it was for everybody in the organization because we know how difficult that was and how harrowing that was last season. So it was great to actually get the win after that to cap off a very good night for the Miami Heat.”
In a bizarre game that Carlos Boozer actually led in scoring with 31 points, the Heat came out on top with a full team effort. The rest of the Eastern conference is not going to let this go easily though, and it should remain in perspective that this was only a regular season game and a game early in the season at that.
Keep an eye on how healthy the veterans on the Heat are able to stay in the coming months, because it might make more sense to rest them most of the time. They certainly have a deep team as they displayed tonight, but how hungry they remain during the regular season remains to be seen.
