In today’s NBA, it’s not just the younger players that garner all the attention. The older veterans are not just sitting down and waiting for their careers to come to an end. They are still managing to play along the likes of younger players like Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry still keeping up with their pace.

Some of the veterans in this league are the most treasured and vital part of why the NBA is where it is today. If you ask some basketball fans, they would say that the only reason why they still watch the NBA is because their favorite veteran player is still actively playing. The older players are the ones who bring back the NBA of the past.

Different elements of a veteran’s game show wisdom and tricks that some of the younger players in the NBA just can’t keep up with. The guys on this list prove that age is really nothing but a number! On the court, they show the young guys how it’s really done. When these players are finished on the court, they make sure their presence is respected, giving it all they have in every game. They prove that you should never let your age dictate how you feel. They’re not going to lay down and let the young guys step all over them. Instead, they're going to be the ones schooling them!

These are the league’s veterans who still prove that even if you’re 35 and older, it doesn’t mean they still can’t ball!
