The Spurs have several leaders all over their roster. Starters aside, the fact that players like Manu Ginobili and Boris Diaw can come off the bench is often key for a team that already has a lot of experience. They have several veterans with experience in the playoffs and that allows Popovich to have players who can manage different situations at any given moment.

The post play of Tim Duncan, slashing of Tony Parker or spot-up shooting of Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard are only a few options the Spurs have offensively. They have shooters like Matt Bonner and Marco Belinelli, slashers like Manu Ginobili and stretch forwards like Boris Diaw on the bench, so they have a wide range of attacking options at their disposal.

The trio of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker doesn’t need much introduction. They are three superstars with hunger to win it all again and they all put their talents at service of the team: Duncan took a discount to extend his career with the organization, Ginobili understands his role off the bench and Parker has grown to be one of the best point guards in the league. When they’re on their game, they are virtually unstoppable.

The Spurs have six players who could start on any team and several solid pieces that can come off the bench like Boris Diaw, Matt Bonner and Marco Belinelli. The addition of Jeff Ayres adds some tenacity down low and they also have quality young players like Cory Joseph or Patty Mills who can step up if given the chance. The Spurs have one of the deepest rosters in the league and that is often beneficial down the stretch.
