Los Angeles Clippers Chris Paul and Blake Griffin On Form In Win Over Sacramento Kings
Chris Paul and Blake Griffin did not look totally in sync on opening night, and something tells me that they were paying attention to all the talking heads who were saying that Griffin had not worked hard enough on his game this offseason. Charles Barkley was contending that on TNT, but something tells me Griffin took that personally because his play since has been impressive.
They have picked up a couple wins since then, and maybe we will see some nice momentum from them going forward. Thanks to the tweet below for highlights of the latest game.

Griffin needs to be a reliable second option for Paul, and if the forward can get a little bit more efficient with his jump shooting then it will open things up even more. Doc Rivers was a great addition for these two and they will look like quite a different team at the end of the year than they do right now. Defensively especially they will be much more sharp than they look right now.
Rivers knows that it has to all be about the playoffs and winning a championship, so that will start to seep down into the organization. Paul’s presence has certainly been helpful in LA, but you need a good coach as well to get to that next level of the playoffs. Vinny Del Negro was just not that guy (come on we all know it), and it will be interesting to see how long of a leash Rivers is on especially if they lose.
