Eric Bledsoe was one of the most intriguing trades of the offseason, and the young bull of a point guard will be watched closely by me in the coming year.

If you are not that familiar with his game, then this shot will give you an idea of the quality of player you are dealing with.

“It feels great,” Bledsoe said. “I was preparing all summer. All summer I was working and to finally get this opportunity is a blessing.”

This is a young man who has been a starter quality player for at least the last year, and now he is showing it on the court. Thanks to the tweet below for the highlight of this truly awesome game winner.

Bledsoe picked up some good qualities form Chris Paul though and it is paying off now. His athleticism is truly electrifying and his play with his big men so far has been quite effective. Defensively he is an absolute terror and he is probably already the best shot blocking guard in the league.

The work Bledsoe put in has payed off with a much more accurate shot, and we will see if he can maintain efficiency as the season progresses. So far the experiment of playing Goran Dragic and Bledsoe in the lineup at the same time has payed off, and it is a pretty fun combination to watch as well. We will see if they end up moving Dragic before the deadline, but now that I have seen them on the court together, definitely hoping they keep the crew together for just a bit longer.
