The Utah Jazz could not quite keep up last night despite a solid showing from Enes Kanter who recorded 16 points and eight rebounds. James Harden and Chandler Parsons were just too good though, and accounted for 23 points and 24 respectively. Harden also chipped in with five assist, and Parsons had his best all around game all year recording 12 rebounds and six assists.

He was in a shooting slump, but he had faith they would go in.

“I wasn’t happy about it,” Parsons told NBA.com “But it’s something that everyone goes through. I could go 0-for-50 and I’m still going to shoot the ball the same way and shoot the ball with the same amount of confidence. I’m very confident and so is my team with me.”

Thanks to the tweet below for the update on this, and Dwight Howard did not quite fill up the stat line in this one.

In the end the Jazz just could not score from outside shoot 4-for-22 from 3-point range. Houston also dominated rebounding with a 28-12 edge. It is looking more and more like a year the Jazz should tank in order to get the best draft pick. Yes there is bad karma around something like that, but if I was the GM and looking at a player like Andrew Wiggins coming out of school then there would be no shame to what I would do to make it happen. But that is just me folks, and I am not a mindreader.
