Paul Pierce’s skill set is truly inspiring and for all you young ballers out there make sure you are watching this guy play. He is able to score from everywhere folks, and his teammate Kevin Garnett compared the small forward to a famous artist.
“The first thing I told these guys was that it’s going to be a pleasure to watch [Pierce] every night,” Garnett said to Sports Illustrated. “I’ve always called him Picasso. He’s like a beautiful painting.”
Garnett is famously one of those players who you love to have as a teammate, but hate to play him. That could be the ultimate compliment to Garnett come to think of it though. Thanks to the tweet below for the update on this.

Pierce will have some magic left this year, especially if Jason Kidd is able to manage minutes well. That will likely depend on how desperate they are in the playoff hunt, but the early returns show that making the playoffs will not be super difficult for this squad. The real question will be how on form they look come playoff time, and if Garnett and Pierce are fully healthy then all bets are off folks. Cannot wait for playoff basketball to arrive, and thanks for reading.
