Anthony Davis has put up some truly ridonkulous stat lines this year and his latest performance was a stunning one as well. 18 points, nine rebounds, three steals, and three blocks in a single game sound all right to you?
“We’ve had the lead at halftime before” Jason Smith said to NBA.com. “The third quarters have just given us trouble. We just knew we had to come out with a concerted effort and be motivated to come out and have a big third quarter.”
Thanks to the tweet below for the update on that stat line, and I believe this is the year Davis is voted to the All Star team.

With the kind of steals and blocks he is recording in the early going it would honestly not be a surprise if he were to win defensive player of the year. It would certainly help if he made the playoffs, but that is also not a total prerequisite for either honor. It has happened before is all I’m saying.
You can bet I will continue to monitor his All Star status, and if he keeps putting up numbers like that then it will not even be a question. Thanks for reading and keep an eye out for a piece on Eric Bledsoe later on today.
