Grizzlies vs. Clippers Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Lines
TV: SportSouth, FS-Prime Ticket, DTV: 651, 693, 761, 762.
The Clippers are favored by nine in this one or eight and a half depending on who you are looking at. Love Chris Paul and Blake Griffin in this one and believe the Clippers will win, but the Grizzlies (and most notably Zach Randolph) hate the Clippers and especially Griffin.
All I’m trying to say is the Clippers will get the Grizz’s best effort, and though CP3 will come out with the victory it will probably be by less than nine so take the Clips at your own peril on the over.
Griffin has been impressive in the early season notching 30 points on twelve of nineteen shooting from the field to go along nicely with twelve rebounds, two assists, and one block. His shooting in particular in the early going has looked much improved, and now I would just like to see a bit more of a back to the basket game.
“We turned it on and won the game and I’m happy about that. … What I didn’t like was the turnovers and offensive rebounds that killed us tonight,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said after the win two nights ago.
I’d probably swing Grizzlies on this one, but it is a tough one; might be wiser to stick to more clear mismatches in today’s lines.
