Los Angeles Clippers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday Game Preview, TV Schedule, and Betting Lines

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Clippers tip off against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight with Kevin Durant’s crew favored (-5.5) in what should be quite a close game. Head coach Scott Brooks has not liked what he has seen defensively lately and it has been the scoring that has kept them in games. For instance, Durant and point guard Russell Westbrook scored a season high 68 points most recently.

“We knew they’d be tough”, said Brooks after the latest win. “We’ve got to do a better job of being a defensive team, we have to play better defense. But in the fourth quarter we really locked in and played inspired basketball.”

Would pick the Clippers to cover the spead on this one, but do think the Thunder will end up winning the game because they are so good at home. The Clips also played last night, and that is pretty tough to travel to a new city and be totally fresh. They will most likelly come out early with dead legs, but then Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will might for thins to get close near the end.

Here is the TV info on that one, and get your DVRs ready for Charles Barkley.

TV: TNT, DTV: 245

Jeff Van Gundy Wants NBA Dance Teams To Quit Smiling

During Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, ESPN broadcaster Jeff Van Gundy took exception to the fact that the Clippers dance team was smiling during its routine despite Los Angeles trailing by a significant amount. Well, in what can be described as a bit of poetic justice, the Clippers ended up pulling off an epic comeback win, and Van Gundy was put in his place.

DeMarcus Cousins Nearly Pulverizes Steven Adams With Haymaker

Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams ought to be counting his blessings right now, as he essentially dodged a bullet on Monday night. Adams got locked up with Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, who nearly lost his cool. Cousins began to swing a devastating haymaker that would have pulverized Adams into oblivion, but thankfully thought twice about it at the last second.
