Indiana’s hot start has really impressed fans, showing they are for real about getting that No. 1 seed in the East. At 12-1, they currently have that No. 1 seed, and don’t look to be losing it any time soon. Injuries last season really plagued the T-Wolves from making the playoffs, and are showing early on this season that if they can stay healthy throughout the season, they will make the playoffs and could make some noise while there. To really prove to the league that they are for real, they would love to knock off the Pacers at home, and the Pacers must be ready.
Minnesota presents a lot of matchup problems that will definitely test Indiana’s strong defense. Ricky Rubio with his fancy passing, Kevin Martin with his lights-out shooting, Corey Brewer with his solid all-around play, Kevin Love with his shooting ability, and Nikola Pekovic with his post-play make for a very good team that could cause any team problems.
The Pacers are obviously playing solid ball, although they seem to go into the half being down. They are the best second half team in basketball behind Paul George, but getting down to a good team like Minnesota isn’t something you like to see, as it would be tougher to come back and win.
Monday’s contest between the Pacers and Wolves could be very entertaining, and both teams must play solid ball in order to come out with the W.
