Sacramento Kings vs. Los Angeles Lakers Sunday Game Preview, TV Schedule, and Betting Lines
Kobe Bryant is not coming through that door; not just yet anyway. The Black Mamba has returned to practice, but he is probably still a few weeks away from playing a game. Christmas is probably a date he has circled, although also have heard rumors he may return before that time as well.
The Los Angeles Lakers amazingly are favored in this one (-3.5) against the Sacramento Kings which lets you know what Vegas thinks of DeMarcus Cousins’ teammates. Boogie is a great player, but he does not have a whole lot of help out there. Think the Lakers will win this one, because they showed me on Friday that they can compete with a quality opponent so the Kings should fall. They played David Lee’s squad to pretty much a draw, and the difference in team chemistry this season for the Lakers is palpable with Dwight Howard out of town. Honestly, in the long run think that might have been best for both parties as I look back on it.
Could see it being a close game though so would maybe hesitate taking the Lakers on the over if you are betting on this one, but the Lakers could also start hitting threes so guess it depends on your faith in Mike D’Antoni to put them in position. Not quite ready to jump on that bandwagon myself just because of D’Antoni’s lack of focus on defense.
Here is the TV schedule on this one which tips off at 9:30 PM EST.
TV: CSN-California, Time Warner, DTV: 691, 698, 757, 758
More previews to come later this morning and also be sure to keep an eye out for Rant Sports Prep content later tonight. Thanks for reading folks.
