Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Utah Jazz tip off against the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7:00 PM EST in Oklahomia and Kevin Durant’s crew if favored (-14) in a big time way.

The Thunder have proven themselves against some of the best in the Western Conference so you can bet the Jazz will fall in this one. Not totally confident the Thunder will cover the spread though so might stick with a safer option if you are looking for an efficient look today. Just my opinion, but also got to trust your gut when you are feeling something.

Here is the TV info for that one.

TV: ROOT-Rocky Mountain, FS-Oklahoma, DTV: 679, 684, 755, 756

That is it for the previews today but be sure to stay tuned for Rant Sports Prep content later tonight. Quick celebrity sidenote as I see Jack Nicholson on DVR of the Staples Center games; did you know that Nicholson and Angelica Huston dated back in the day? Maybe I’m just too young to remember, but what a foxy couple they must have made.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook look like the class of the Western Conference so far and they have to be early favorites to be the champs at least in the West. The Jazz, on the other hand, seem to be headed to lottery-ville and quite on purpose. That makes for a tempting line to go after, but again if they were my millions I’d stay away from this one.
