Los Angeles Lakers vs. Washington Wizards Tuesday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Lines
The Washinton Wizards tip off against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at 7:00 PM EST at the Verizon Center, and no Kobe Bryant is not walking through that door. “Kobe Watch” is on full alert with the Black Mamba’s return to practice and think that Christmas might be a date by which we will see the five time champ.
Point guard John Wall and shooting guard Bradley Beal have looked sharp in the early going making the Wizards favored (-5.5) in this match at home. The Lakers under Mike D’Antoni are shooting the ball well, and the Lakers bench including Jordan Farmar in particular have looked pretty good in the early season.
Not good enough for me to pick them in this one though. Would probably take the Wiz on the over in this one, just because the Lakers cannot be fully trusted without Bryant. Power forward Pau Gasol is a nice player do not get wrong, but he is not a franchise player who can carry your team through ups and downs. He is a pretty amazing second option though if you ask me.
The Lakers have had pretty good crowds lately though and the franchise seems to be moving on from the departure of the Dwightmare that came through town last season. Here is the TV info on that one.
TV: Time Warner, CSN-DC, DTV: 642, 691, 752, 753
