The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be in a holding pattern ever since Kobe Bryant returned to practice and they are just waiting for the glorious moment that he returns.

That will not help them tonight against the Detroit Pistons though, who boast a sea of young big men to run against the Lake Show as well as some quality guards as well.

The Pistons are favored in this one, which tips off at 7:30 PM EST in Detroit; here is the TV info for it.

TV: FS-Detroit, Time Warner, DTV: 663, 6914, 759, 760

Would probably take the Pistons on the over here, despite the Lakers recent three point shooting success. If you live by the three, then you die by the three. It is an old but true basketball adage, and something to keep an eye on as far as the Lakers go. Mike D’Antoni’s offense almost demands that shooters are draining open looks, and so when you see discombobulation it is usually because of some deficit in that respect.

The Pistons have looked like a playoff team early in the season, and so Vegas favoring them over the Lakers should come as no surprise. It could end up being a close game, so apologies to folks who pick the Pistons over and then they only win by two.

Thanksgiving was great over here y’all, even though the poker game that I just ran away from was truly rough. Hope you all enjoyed the company of family and friends and stayed safe out there in all the cold weather. Oh and also, thanks for reading.
