They might cover the spread though (-9), so would hesitate to go with the Nuggets on the over if you are betting. Might stay away from this one and look at my other previews today, because sometimes when something feels like a gray area then it is a gray area.
Here is the TV info on that one, if you care to tune in to the Knicks continual season slide.
TV: MSG, Altitude, DTV: 634, 681, 765, 766
At this point do not realistically see the Knicks making the playoffs because of the abscence of Tyson Chandler who is the defensive backbone of the team. Until I see him back on the court and affecting plays, then I will struggle to think of the Knicks as anything other than a funny and kind of depressing sideshow. Sorry if that offends anyone out there, but just try to tell the truth as I see it.
Carmelo Anthony’s individual offensive brilliance is what makes me hesitate to take the Nuggets on the over, but the reality for the Knicks is that ‘Melo has never placed as high a premium on defense as on offense. When your superstar operates that way then it filters down to everyone else, and that is just how leadership works.
