The Orlando Magic take their show on the road tonight against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, and it will be interesting to see if Carmelo Anthony can help right the ship against one of the lower tier teams in the Eastern conference.

Here is the TV info for that one in case that was what you were looking for.

TV: FS-Florida, MSG, DTV: 634, 654, 756, 757

The Knicks have been an embarrassment even since Tyson Chandler went down with their defense in particular looking pretty terrible.

“Until we are able to take pride in guarding the ball,” Mike Woodson said after the latest loss. “There are going to be nights like this. We needed some stops and we couldn’t get them.”

Gotta go with the Magic on this one to cover the spread (-6), because of how much I love Victor Oladipo. For this line, you have to realize that Oladipo is a better defensive player than anybody on the Knicks who is currently healthy. That is absolutely wild, but also true. Maybe the Knicks can swing momentum in this one, but would not put my money on it.

Anthony is a fun player to watch, but he lacks quite a bit defensively which is the way to win basketball games and especially playoff basketball games. Two more previews coming today and then check out my Rant Sports Prep content which will drop later tonight. Boom.
