Houston Rockets vs. Portland Trail Blazers Thursday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Guess what folks? I’m punting this one harder than John Hall.

The Houston Rockets get on a plane to the Northwest and will tip off at 10:30 PM EST against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Damian Lillard and company may have been the most impressive (or at least surprising) team in the Western Conference this season. Loved what they did in the offseason, but did not expect it to pay off so soon. C.J. McCollum has not even set on the floor yet, and he will give them another dangerous dimension from the perimeter. They won their latest on the road, so we will have to see if they can keep momentum going with a home win.

“We knew it wasn’t going to be the same as the previous game,” Robin Lopez said after the latest win. “Blowouts happen in the NBA. Especially when you face another team so soon, you know you are going to get their best effort.”

The Blazers are favored and have to go with the home team in this one, because the tie goes to the runner. Here is the TV info for that one, and you can bet my DVR is set so be sure to read my previews in the future if want to know what I thought about the game.

TV: TNT, DTV: 245

That is all for the previews today, but be sure to check out my Rant Sports Prep content later tonight.
