Kobe Bryant is not quite there yet; do not get me wrong, I am freaking impressed that he even got onto the floor this early before Christmas. However…. for you bettors out there just do not trust the Los Angeles Lakers until the Black Mamba is back to elite form.

Tonight they tip off against the Atlanta Hawks in Hot-Lanta at 7:30 PM EST, and here is the TV info for it.

TV: Time Warner, SportSouth, DTV: 649, 691, 753, 754

The Hawks as of a couple days ago were third place in the Eastern conference, which tells you a bit about how that side of the country is playing so far this year. They are favored (-4) at home in this one, and am incline to go with Al Horford’s squad in this one.

The Mamba helped close the latest Lakers’ match but we will just have to see if he can do it again tonight.

“You always miss those moments, particularly on the road,” Bryant said after the latest win. “It’s always fun to close a team out down the stretch.”

The Lakers down the stretch will most likely be fighting for an eight seed again, and if the five-time champion can get his boys back to the promised land then it could be his greatest accomplishment yet considering the severity of the injury he is coming back from.

That is all for the previews today, but stop by Rant Sport Prep if you are missing us later.
