Chicago Bulls: Stop The Rumors, Bulls Not Trading Luol Deng

Rob Grabowski – USA TODAY Sports

All the speculation of trade rumors surrounding Chicago BullsLuol Deng can be put to rest. The Bulls are not looking to trade the upcoming free agent Deng at this point in the season.

This season for the Bulls has been decimated by major injuries, and trade rumors have been swirling over the last month. Teams have been calling the Bulls for the service of Deng as they keep plummeting down the Eastern Conference. The Bulls currently stand with a record of 9-16, and the injuries keep piling up. Many people around the league and fans anticipated some moves being made, but that’s just not how the Bulls operate.

Deng has reiterated that he wants to be a Bull for the long-term but knows there is still a chance he could be moved.  Over the summer the Bulls and Deng could not come up with an agreement on a contract extension beyond this year.  The Bulls are very confident and feel they can re-sign Deng this offseason, but the questions are should they or is Deng willing to re-sign? This situation has to play out in the favor of both parties involved because it can be a major distraction going forward.

Fans of the Bulls are very torn on the future of this organization. Some fans on one side think they should trade Deng, but who can you get for him that has the same impact? Others are saying to re-sign him and try to compete again with the recent core intact. Either way, the Bulls have to make some hard decisions and find out what’s best for the organization now and in the future.

Bulls' Noah Comes Nowhere Close To Making Jumper

Joakim Noah is a tremendous hustler and a gritty basketball player who does all the dirty work. That being said, this jump shot was terrible. This was the worst attempt that I've ever seen in my life and I don't expect that Noah will be shooting any more than layups for a good while.
