The Boston Celtics tip off against the Indiana Pacers tonight at 6 PM EST, and this one might be an old school beat down. It will be tough for the under-matched Celtics will have trouble against the Pacers’ imposing front line who are also fresh off of losing to the reigning champs and will be playing angry. Yep. This could be an old fashioned smack down hearkening back to the 80s.

For the Celtics, it has been a struggle as the words of their coach after a recent loss indicate.

“It’s easy for all of us, myself included, to be really focused on ‘We had a 19-point lead and didn’t win the game’, but we got outplayed for 36 minutes,” Brad Stevens said after Wednesday’s loss.

For any woeful Celtics fans out there? Just hold on until next year and maybe just enjoy the Bruins this season and enjoy basketball elsewhere in life.

Here is the TV info for that just in case you stopped by for that.

TV: CSN-New England, FS-Indiana, DTV: 630, 673, 751, 752

The Pacers are of course favored (-13), and that line is pretty high but there is such a talent disparity that would go with the angry Pacers covering that spread. Two more previews coming your way, and then be sure to stop by Rant Sports Prep for all the latest on the up and coming ballers.
