Chicago Bulls: Return Of Kirk Hinrich And Jimmy Butler Couldn’t Come At A Better Time
It will be a wonderful time of the year for Chicago Bulls fans when they play the Brooklyn Nets on Christmas day. News is breaking out that they will be getting some key guys back from injuries on this day. With the year they are having with so many mishaps and injuries, this is fantastic news.
It has been reported that point guard Kirk Hinrich and two guard Jimmy Butler will be back in the lineup against the Nets, and this couldn’t come at a better time. The Bulls, just coming off one of their finest games of the season against the Cleveland Cavaliers, can definitely use these two, as they both bring some stability back to the Bulls. Even though Hinrich has struggled a bit, he is the steady hand at point guard. Butler, who needs to step up and get more aggressive, brings defense, toughness and slashing ability to the offense.
Hinrich and Butler will step in at the right time to contend against the Nets’ Deron Williams and Joe Johnson, who present matchup problems for any team. They are one of the best backcourts in the league when healthy, and both are capable of scoring 20 points any night, which is why it’s very important to have Hinrich and Butler back, as they are some of the better defenders at their positions.
This game will be entertaining, even with both teams having losing records; they are much better than their records show. Bulls fans are just happy to have some healthy bodies back in the lineup. Hopefully they can bring some Christmas joy back to Chicago with a victory.
