Brooklyn Nets Continue To Disappoint Fans In Blowout Loss To Chicago Bulls

We can’t see into the future, but I’m pretty sure things will get worse for the Brooklyn Nets.

Another home game, another defeat, and more boos raining down on the team from their still faithful fans. The Chicago Bulls are not a bad team because they lost Derrick Rose. They have won without him before, and are getting used to him not being around. The Nets, on the other hand, have too many issues to get around, and if they are not careful, things could get worse really quick.

Christmas Day is a national televised game and a platform to show the world that your coach put his foot in his mouth when he called the team quitters. I know Jason Kidd has no coaching experience, but it seems the players just picked up a ball for the first time themselves. I am married, so I know what it’s like to have to tune a person out every now and then; I figured this is what the players are doing to Kidd, tuning him out. But they have to realize that they are acting like kids and their season and reputations are going down the drain with each defeat and reported riff within the organization.

I do not believe the players have become complacent with losing. The problem is that they just don’t know how to win, and that trickles down from the front office all the way to the players. A closed door meeting, a fight in the locker room, or getting thrown under the bus will not change the fate of this team. It’s time for new front office personal, new coach, and a few new names on the back of the jerseys as well.
