Detroit Pistons vs. Washington Wizards Saturday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line

Brace Hemmelgarn- USA TODAY Sports

You can almost hear it. The sound of all the Washington Wizard fans out there holding their breath, because shooting guard Bradley Beal had to be helped off the court last night and believe he is getting a MRI today. Anyways, the Wizards play the Detroit Pistons which tips off at 7:05 PM, and if you were looking for the TV info then guess what? I’m your man, and the man.

TV: FS-Ohio, CSN-New England, DTV: 642, 664, 753, 754

For the Wizards, they really need to get the win against a quality Eastern Conference oppenent to stay in the playoff hunt, and the words out their coach after the latest loss troubled me quite a bit.

“We made shots early in the game,” said head coach Randy Wittman after the latest embarrassing loss. “We got comfortable. Defensively, it was as bad as we have played since the start of the year. None of our concepts on how we wanted to play the game. It was bad. We didn’t even attempt to play defense. They attacked the basket and that’s why they had 38 free throws (attempted). They were the more aggressive team.”

Nothing about that statement makes me particularly happy as a native DMVer, but that is just the world we live in folks. Just cross your fingers and hope that Beal does not get some bad news. One more preview for you coming today, and then if feeling generous might just hit you up with some Rant Sports Prep pieces later tonight. Thanks as always for reading, and you better watch out for Rant sports in 2014. ‘Bout to blow up son.

Caldwell-Pope Emphatically Rejects LeBron

It isn't often we get to see someone completely own LeBron James on the basketball court. However, Detroit Pistons SG Kentavious Caldwell-Pope got the best of 'King James' on Friday night, as he appeared out of thin air to emphatically reject James' shot from downtown.

Noel Emphatically Posterizes Drummond

With Jahlil Okafor out for the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night against the Detroit Pistons, Nerlens Noel had an opportunity to shine, and he took advantage. Noel makes Andre Drummond look feeble on this play, and that isn't an easy thing to do.
