The Indiana Pacers are now 15-1 at home (yes, you read that right), and tonight they will deliver an old school beatdown on the tanking Toronto Raptors, I mean the Toronto Raptors. The Pacers got the win in their last one thanks to defense and passing if you listen carefully to what their starters said after the game.

“We played better defense, played smart and hit the open man,” said Lance Stephenson. “We were protecting the rim. Everybody was in their gaps and G-Hill did a great job on Kyrie Irving.”

Stephenson has looked impressive this season, and he recorded eight assists in the latest victory. He is certainly a player to keep an eye on as the season goes on, because he could end up making the difference in a key playoff series.

Here is the TV information for this one that tips at 7 PM EST.

TV: FS-Indiana, TSN, DTV: 673,753

The Pacers are favored (-5) despite being on the road, but would still pick them to cover the line in this one. Frank Vogel is one of the best coaches in the league, and for how young and dedicated he seems, it would be a surprise to see him not have success at some point at a championship level. This might end up being Kevin Durant’s year based on what have seen in the early season developmentally from the Thunder, but the Pacers are certainly a contender and their progress in the next few months will be crucial to their shot at getting one step closer to their goal.
