The Warriors have looked good lately, but surprisingly they have started to step up defensively.

“That’s the 14th time we’ve held a team under 40 percent so we’ve got to get some recognition as far as the way we defend,” Golden State Coach Mark Jackson said after the latest win. “We defended from the opening jump and were really locked in the whole night.”

Those are strong words from the head coach, and he is a man who always says what is on his mind. His squad will face a tough Miami Heat squad, and expecting LeBron James’ crew to cover the spread (-4.5) in this one. Apologies to any Warriors fans out there, it is just not a great matchup. It will probably be a pretty close game, but the bottom line is that there is no one on the team who can cover James. When that happens, then you have to double-team him; that is when jump shooters are open and think we all remember what happens when Ray Allen gets open for a three pointer.
