The Knicks have had a roller-coaster season (to be polite about it), and in the end not sure if they are going to make it to the playoffs. They are just that bad, and cannot see them fully righting the ship in time; just dug themselves a little bit too deep of a whole and now they are paying the piper. For Tyson Chandler, he believes his team needs to make things simpler for themselves.

“We’ve got to get back to fundamentals in a lot of things,” Chandler said after the latest loss. “Defensively, we’re not as fundamentally sound as we’d like to be. It’s the same thing with offense. It’s the little things right now that are separating us from wins and losses.”

The Spurs are obviously favored (-11.5) and would pick them to cover just because small forward Carmelo Anthony is still having a bit of injury trouble. Power forward Tim Duncan has been turning back the clock this season, and it appears the greatest power forward ever is hell bent on getting back to the Finals. They are not my favorite out West rationally, but they are my sentimental favorite and would not frown on any success they have.
