New York Knicks vs. Houston Rockets Friday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line
The New York Knicks head to Texas tonight to face off against the Houston Rockets, and for once in the season Carmelo Anthony’s crew is feeling a bit of momentum. Here is the TV info for that one that tips off at 8 PM EST.
TV: CSN-Bay, SportSouth, DTV: 216, 634
Imam Shumpert was particularly key for the Knicks in their latest close win, and his tip-in near the end of the game helped to seal the victory.
“I’ve always done that throughout my career,” Shumpert said. “I just try and play hard. That’s the one thing — even if everything is going wrong, you can still run hard, chase somebody down, get a block, get a steal … get an offensive rebound. Those are things you can do whether you’re having a good night or a bad night.”
The Rockets are favored (-11.5) by quite a bit, and would pick the Knicks to at least cover the spread if it were me. Dwight Howard and James Harden will ultimately push the Rockets to victory, but do not think this will be a complete blowout after the Knicks played a game with some decent defensive effort. Was wrong about the Knicks yesterday though as a reader pointed out, but will try to do better in the future.
