New Orleans Pelicans vs. Indiana Pacers Saturday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers have been kicking booty at home this season and they look they are on a bull-headed mission to win the East; if they do so, then they could conceivably have a chance to play a game 7 at home if they make to the Eastern Conference finals. Tonight they test themselves against the New Orleans Pelicans, and if you wanted the TV info for this one that tips at 7 PM EST then here you are.

Paul George has looked on point to start the year, and though he would probably not be the MVP if the season ended today there is still a lot of basketball left to be played. You also never know what can happen as far as injuries go, and until we get to the playoffs everything will be touch and go in the Eastern conference. The Pacers dropped one on the road recently, so look for them to bounce back with a focused defensive effort.

“They played better than us tonight,” George Hill said after the latest loss. “Normally we come out and have a tremendous third and fourth quarter, but tonight, they hit first. We’re normally a team that hits first. We’re a smashmouth team. They came in and brought the pressure and turned us over more than we’re normally getting turned over. They initiated it.”

The Pacers are favored big (-11.5) in this one against Anthony “Unibrow” Davis, and would probably go with the Pelicans to lose but cover the spread. Might hit you with a couple more previews today, and also be sure to look out for a surprising variety of content going into 2014. Peace.
