The Atlanta Hawks head to Jay-Z’s hometown tonight to face the Brooklyn Nets, but something tells me Hova will be too busy with a Kevin Durant meeting to make it to the game. This one tips at 7:35 PM EST, and the Nets are favored (-3), which does not make a lot of sense to me.

Brook Lopez and Al Horford will both miss this one, which is a bummer but here is the TV info to salve your wounds.

TV: SportSouth, YES, DTV: 631, 649, 753, 754

Would probably go with the Hawks on the over, but with Horford out cannot write that with any confidence. The Nets recently got a win over Kyrie Irving’s squad, and hopefully it is the sign of a turning point because they certainly need to turn a page in order to make the playoffs.

“I think we’ve decided to use the New Year to try and turn things around,” small forward Paul Pierce said after the much needed win.

Will not be able to catch this one, but perhaps on another day will re-evaluate my thoughs on the Nets. Just not now. Yeah, would still go with the Hawks even though they might be a bit outmatched talent-wise in this one.

Thanks for reading and got another preview and some Prep Sports coming your way.
