Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets Thursday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line

Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Oklahoma City Thunder take to the road tonight to face the Denver Nuggets, and this one tips off at 10:35 PM EST. Will not be able to catch the end of this one tonight, but will probably have some thoughts after the DVR gets a workout tomorrow.

Here is the TV info for that one, just in case you were trying to use this poor soldier and leave.

TV: TNT, DTV: 245

The Good Will Hunting references are probably not done yet folks, so strap on your seat belts; it is going to be a bumpy ride. Just kidding…. maybe.

At gunpoint would pick the Thunder to cover the spread (-3.5) in this one, although power forward Serge Ibaka is doubtful so it might end up being a close one. Kevin Durant is my MVP pick in the early season, although LeBron James is making a strong case for himself as well. It is probably down to those two and Paul George for me at the moment, but there is still quite a lot of basketball left to be played this season so the list remains a movable feast at this point. Oh you weren’t expecting a Hemingway throwaway, were you?

That is all for the previews today, but one more pro basketball opinion piece and then might hit you with some Rant Sports Prep later on tonight. Thanks as always for reading.

Kristaps Porzingis Soars For Epic Put-Back Dunk

We all remember draft night and the vicious boos that Kristaps Porzingis heard from New York Knicks fans. Well, Porzingis has been nothing short of phenomenal thus far for New York, and is as polished as anyone could have hoped he would be at the young age of 20. Porzingis' epic put-back dunk against the Oklahoma City Thunder this evening proves how athletic and aware on the court he truly is.
