Charlotte Bobcats vs. Chicago Bulls Saturday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bulls got an Eastern Conference road win last night, and they will probably be a bit winded for this one as a result. Still expecting them to win though, because they have the best regular season coach in the game; this one tips at 8 PM EST, and if you were looking for the TV info then forage no further.

TV: SportSouth, CSN-Chicago,, DTV: 650, 665, 758, 759

Picking the Bulls to cover the spread (-4.5) here, and that should not come as a huge surprise given their competition. We will have to see how they play without Luol Deng in the next month, but it would not surprise me to see Jimmy Butler continue to step up. Have to agree with Stan Van Gundy that the Bulls did not get enough back, but it is possible that was the best offer on the table.

“Everybody might be a little down as far as the season has gone for us. We’ve lost a lot of close games and it is building up on us right now but you can’t think about that,” forward Epke Udoh said after the loss to the Bulls. “We just have to be ourselves and be better the next game.”

That is all for the previews today, but if you are lucky will hit you some Prep Sports later today. Also, it has been a while since offered my two cents on football so will chime in a bit later after watching the games today. Enjoy the weekend everybody, and saddle up for a great 2014.

President Obama's Got Jokes About Warriors, 1995-96 Bulls

The Golden State Warriors recently visited the White House to be acknowledged for their 2014-15 NBA championship. As you may know, President Obama is a huge fan of basketball, and especially his beloved Chicago Bulls. While introducing the team, President Obama joked that he was in the presence of one member of the greatest team in basketball history with Steve Kerr on stage. The Warriors head coach was a member of the 1995-96 Bulls team that many think of as the greatest team of all time.

Pau Gasol Puts "Shake and Bake" On Kobe Bryant

The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls squared off on Thursday night, so naturally all eyes were on former teammates Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. The two had a nice embrace prior to opening whistle, but it was strictly business once the game got started. Don't believe me? Just check out this "Shake and Bake" executed to perfection by Gasol.

Hornets Inexplicably Allow Durant Free Dunk

While I understand that Oklahoma City Thunder SF Kevin Durant is physically intimidating when driving the lane, the Charlotte Hornets should be ashamed of themselves for the defensive effort they put forth during this play. I mean, they didn't even try. The Hornets have made some solid strides this season, but boneheaded mental collapses like this will prevent them from continuing to build momentum.
