Houston Rockets vs. Washington Wizards Saturday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line
The Washington Wizards were truly embarrassing against Roy Hibbert’s squad recently, and as a DMV native cannot say that I am impressed so far this season.
“You want to see a team come out and play as hard as any team you’ve ever seen on the defensive end, come out and watch our basketball team,” coach Frank Vogel said after the beatdown. “They care about that end of the court, they’re having fun with it, they’re working for each other, working together, covering for each other.”
We will have to see if the Wizards luck is any better tonight at the Verizon Center when the Houston Rockets come to town, and here is the TV info for that one.
TV: CSN-Houston, DC, DTV: 642, 752, 753
The Rockets are favored in this one (-2) that tips at 7 PM EST, and would pick them to cover to spread thanks to James Harden and the talent differential between the two teams. Hate to break it to Wiz fans; realize this team could make the playoffs in a painfully bad Eastern conference, but that does not mean they will do anything once they get there. Sometimes, getting to the playoffs when you are not ready can be just as painful of a sight as not making the postseason entirely.
One more preview coming at you, and then it is time to get the wheels moving again.
