T-Wolves head coach Rick Adelman was pleased with the offense in the latest win, and especially the low post play.
“Nikola Pekovic played really well,” said Adelman. “He got great position and we really had good ball movement tonight. The ball really didn’t stop. Pek was doing a great job at making Jefferson work.”
We will have to see if Pekovic can bring the same intensity tonight, and the combination of him and Kevin Love has been pretty terrific thus far. Ricky Rubio’s shooting has been a disaster so far this season, but it bears keeping in mind that he is a young player. The issue is that the T-Wolves are getting double-teamed inn the post as a result, and it is creating spacing issues that are probably keeping coach Adelman up at night.
That is all for the preview today, because all of the amazing football that is happening but there will be more on the way tomorrow.
