Brooklyn Nets vs. Atlanta Hawks Thursday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line
The Brooklyn Nets visit Hot-Lanta tonight to take on the Al Horford-less Atlanta Hawks. If the Nets can’t get a win in this one, then not sure if there will be any hope for them as the season goes on. This one tips off at 3 PM EST, and in case you were looking for it here is the TV info.
TV: NBA, DTV: 216
This one is not on TNT, so we will not get to hear Barkley’s opinion unfortunately. Will be taping the later games though, which will be fun to check out later; also, keep an eye out for previews of those games later this afternoon.
The Nets lost their last one by 16, and if the post-game comments are any indication then there are not brighter days ahead.
“The last six minutes of the third was tough on us,” Paul Pierce said after the latest embarrassment. “It was tough for us to execute, we turned the ball over. We were up 10 points and we had a chance to really do some damage. Maybe it was fatigue, I don’t know.”
I do know; it was fatigue, and it the simple matter of it is that this team is old and they have already mortgated their future. That’s a tough spot for their fanbase, but just calling it like it is. Brash financial decisions were made, and the repercussions will be felt on the franchise for years to come. Would go with the favored (-1) Hawks to win this one at home and also to cover the spread. Two more previews coming your way, and then some Rant Sports Prep hot cakes as well.
