The Oklahoma City Thunder took a small trip, and tonight they will be on the road against the San Antonio Spurs at 8 PM EST which believe is a time change. Both starting point guards are out for this one, so it will be the battle of the forwards to keep a close eye on. Here is the TV info just in case you wanted to use this meager scribe and then leave unceremoniously.

TV: FS-Oklahoma, KENS, DTV: 679

Kevin Durant’s opponent had some kind words for the star forward after the game, and these words should give you a sense of why the DMV native is getting such high MVP hype lately.

“The guy is the best player in the world right now. What can you say about him?” said Blazers forward Nicolas Batum after the latest loss. “When you watch him on TV, like, he is the best. When you guard him in the game, sometimes you have two guys on him and he makes the shot anyway.”

The Spurs are favored (-6) at home, and would go with the Thunder to cover the spread (-6) and possibly even win; that is the level of respect for Durant at the current moment and until he proves otherwise would continue to go with the hot hand. Tim Duncan and company will do their best to trouble him, but the athletic prowess is just too much to contain.

Couple more previews coming your way today, and then will be making some Rant Sports Prep moves happen as well.
