Point guard Stephen Curry was recently named to his first All Star team, and it was about a year late.

“It’s kind of just a surreal feeling,” Curry said. “I saw Kobe come on the screen and you knew that next person on the screen was going to be me or I was going to get left off that list. Just when I saw my name it was a real emotional kind of experience and glad my wife and daughter were here to watch it with me.”

He was named a starter so that is a bit of an honor to be sure; the point guard has reached the status where even my friends who are casual basketball fans have mentioned him lately. The heat check on him is pretty solid at this point and whenever he is on TV try to DVR it. Curry is kind of a hero and Steve Kerr recently called him the best shooter he has ever seen. It is hard to argue with that from what have seen here, and excited to see what he can make happen in February. He is built for the All Star game, and it should be a fun show.

David Lee Lee was the beneficiary last year, but glad that Curry got some Got another basketball piece coming your way, and then keep an eye out for some inspiration.
