LeBron James Says Miami Heat Were Not Outclassed “But They Came In and Beat Us Pretty Good”

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James had a front row seat to the Kevin Durant show on Wednesday night, and Erik Spoelstra even went so far as to say his team was “outclassed”. James did not agree, but he also was witnessing this year’s MVP (in my opinion) at the height of his powers.

“They beat us good,” James said to USA TODAY. “Outclassed? I don’t know if I’m going to go that far, but they came in and beat us pretty good.”

James and Durant will be number one and two in the MVP voting, that is for sure, and it looks more and more like the Slim Reaper has the inside track. My money is on Durant, because he looked like a kid in a candy shop on Wednesday. Believe he has realized he has enough talent on the team around him to get it done, and that is all without point guard Russell Westbrook healthy and in the lineup. When the feisty point guard returns, then we will see if the duo are finally ready to shake the championship monkey off their back.

That is all for today and know going to get set for Thursday night basketball on TNT. As always will leave you with a bit of fortune cookie wisdom.
