Los Angeles Clippers PG Chris Paul’s Biggest Concern to “Get Back For My Team”
Point guard Chris Paul still is not aware of whether he will be ready to play in the All Star game, and it seems that he is mainly focused on helping his team.
“I don’t know,” Paul said of playing for the West. “I think my biggest concern right now is to get back for my team, not the All-Star Game. I’m trying to get back as soon as possible so I can get out there and help my teammates … I think for me, I just want to play. Whether it’s an All-Star Game, whether it’s pickup basketball, whether it’s playing with our trainers and our coaches, I’m just looking for a game. When the trainer clears me, I’ll be out there.”
That is exactly what you want from a franchise point guard, although will say that the All Star game is always more fun when he is involved. It would be quite an amazing moment as well to see him play in front of the New Orleans’ fans as well, because Paul spent the first (I think) seven years of his career there.
Thanks as always and this is definitely something will keep an eye on; here is wishing Paul a safe return to the court, because the league is better for it.
