Steve Mitchell-USA Today Sports

The Miami Heat face off against the New York KnicksNand here is the TV info for it which tips off at 8:35 PM EST.

TV: SunSports, MSG, ESPN, DTV: 206, 634, 653

Would go with LeBron James and co. to cover the spread (-5), but what the Heat really need to worry about? Andrew Bynum just signed with their biggest Eastern conference threat, and you could almost hear Larry Legend giggling in this statement released today.

“We are obviously happy to have him join our team,” Pacers president of basketball operations Larry Bird said in a release. “He gives us added size, he is a skilled big man and he has championship experience. With the minutes he gets, he should be a valuable addition.”

A valuable addition is a bit of an understatement, and believe a healthy Bynum could tip the Pacers over the edge in the East. The Legend probably was peeved about Lance Stephenson not making the All Star team, and read a report that Bird consoled the guard a bit at practice recently. Honestly, hope he just uses it as fuel to help the Pacers go all the way, and his fourth triple-double was definitely a statement even if the guard would not admit it. He admitted yesterday that he was “mad” about the selections, but you never know what can happen with injury in the next couple weeks.

One more piece coming at you, and then be sure to stop by Prep later on, and if you missed it at all then just know that out belief in Larry Bird could not higher.
