Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers Saturday Game Preview, TV Schedule and Betting Line
The Utah Jazz go up against the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, and this one tips at 10:35 PM EST. Here is the TV schedule just to get that out of the way.
TV: ROOT-Rocky Mountain, FS-Prime Ticket, DTV: 684, 693, 767, 768
Chris Paul will not be playing, but he is still traveling with the team so he will be looking fresh in some street clothes. The Clippers as a a team though were not looking too fresh against center Andrew Bogut lately.
“I don’t think there was a chance for chippiness tonight,” head coach Doc Rivers said after the latest embarrassing loss. “If anybody would have got chippy in this game, they would have been suspended for the year. Why would you be chippy tonight? You’re down by 30.”
Blake Griffin has been playing quite well lately, but the Clippers still seem to get blown out a little bit too often against the other top teams in the West. Obviously, the story will be a little bit different with Paul back in the lineup, but at a certain point it is a team game and the rest of the Clips willneed to step up if they are serious about their championship aspirations.
The Clippers are favored (-11.5) big, and would pick them to cover the spread because they will be playing angry. The Jazz are not exactly a national story this year, and it appears that they may be all-in for Joel Embiid. That certainly is all-in for us at Rant Sports NBA today, but as always some fortune cookie wisdom.
