Small forward Kevin Durant recently faced off against his hometown team with bad results.

“They made me see a crowd” said Durant after the latest loss. “There were a few shots that I should have it hit, I had some good looks, but they did a good job. You to got give them credit.”

The forward leads the league in scoring so far, and he would be the runaway MVP favorite if the season ended today. He has his team positioned well to have home court advantage throughout the playoffs, which is an advantage that cannot be discounted. It is a shame the the Thunder’s winning streak ended, but it had to happen sometime right? So, why not against the DMV?

Durant also mentioned after the game that it would be tough playing in DC every night just because of the all the tickets he has to get for friends and family when he comes back into town. He probably has quite a hefty support structure that comes out of the wood word when it comes to b-ball tickets.

One more piece coming at you today, and then be sure to stop by tomorrow as well if you feel so inclined. The main thing to keep an eye on for the Thunder will be how Russell Westbrook works his way back into the lineup, because if it goes smoothly then we could be talking about a chip.
