Boston Celtics PG Rajon Rondo Drops Double-Double And Looks In Better Rhythm

Rajon Rondo picked up a double-double in his latest effort, and the point guard seems to be working his way back into All Star form.

“It was really good. You just feel like you’re really under control,” coach Brad Stevens said after Rondo’s performance. “The way that he was playing late. And I thought he put a lot of pressure on their defense because they went under almost every pick-and-roll the whole day with him.”

More importantly than the double-double was that the floor general came away with a win. There certainly seems to be an opening near the top of the East this year, so it would not surprise me to see Stevens’ squad look even better down the stretch. Really have quite a lot of respect for him as a coach, and think he could be one of the top five in the league a lot sooner than most people realize. Thinking about this squad with Jabari Parker is quite an interesting thing to contemplate, and the prospect has probably caused Bill Simmons to wet himself a couple times this year. Only joke about the writers have a lot of respect for so, much love to Grantland for their excellent work this year. Jalen and Bill’s youtube pro basketball work is a must follow. That is all for today, but will leave you as always with some fortune cookie wisdom, and the words make me wonder if Rondo has any hope left in the tank.
