“We didn’t stop pushing the pace even though we had the lead,” Rondo said after the latest seven point win. “We finally finished a game strong. They made a run at it, but at the end of the day we still got some stops when we needed and made the plays.”
The Celtics’ defense will ultimately determine how far they can go, but based on the words above there is definitely hope for the future. Rondo had a double-double recently, and the floor general appears to be working his way back into All Star form. If he can do that, then head coach Bradley Stevens will have quite a lot of weapons going into the playoffs. This is probably not the position the Celtics thought they would be in this year, but a weakened Eastern conference has opened up an opportunity that they seem primed to take advantage of.
Here is the TV info for this one just in case that was what you were looking forward.

Moving on from that; the Celtics are favored (-2) and would pick them to cover the spread. Have been super impressed by Michael Carter-Williams, but the young point guard could have some trouble against Rondo.
