Lebron James Sadly Flops Twice on Same Play

There’s no denying that Lebron James is the best basketball player in the world. Saying that he’s not, is just plain silly. But even though he’s the BITW, it doesn’t mean that his game isn’t without flaws. Shooting, passing, rebounding — the King does it all. But on top of all the great things he does, he’s also known as a flopper. Yes, a flopper.

That’s right, not once, but twice. Two flops on the same play.

You have to give James credit for trying. If at first you don’t succeed, flop again.

I wish he would just take the flopping out of his game all together. At this point it just hurts his overall stock. He’s on pace to be considered one of the greatest players of all time, but none of those guys were ever known as floppers. It’s just not something that’s usually associated with great players.

There’s nothing wrong with trying to draw a charge. Players who take legitimate charges on a regular basis should be applauded. But once they start flopping, respect goes out the window for me. There’s a fine line between taking a charge and flopping. The great ones don’t typically cross over into the realm of floppers.

Maybe James will clean up his act, but I doubt it. He’s been in the league over 10 years and he’s still doing it on a regular basis. But hey, if he pulls off the three-peat this summer, who cares if he flops?
