The Indiana Pacers have sent some great players to the NBA All-Star Game. A franchise that has had some stretches of real contention in recent memory, the Pacers have been led by players who are among the best at their positions in their eras.

The NBA All-Star Game is the best annual collection of talent for several reasons. The main one is that basketball as a sport lends itself best to the idea of a talent showcase. Many players grew up playing in pickup games which at most times are basically just individual showcases already. The players don’t have to worry about injury as much as other sports, and they are free to show the world their superior skills.

Also, the All-Star Games in the NBA usually do a good job of giving the fans a glimpse of who the best players in the game are at that moment. Unlike other sports, the best players get chosen for the game and the best players actually play in the game. That’s important because it means we can look back in the history of the game and use the All-Star appearances as a barometer of a player’s career.

And the Pacers have several players who have been chosen as the best the league had to offer. They have players who made several appearances, and they have players who were chosen once or twice to represent Indiana among the NBA’s best.

The Pacers are chasing a title this year, and these are the five best the franchise has ever sent to the NBA All-Star Game.
