The NBA All-Star weekend is rapidly approaching. Many teams need the break from the grueling season to have some fun and watch their own players play alongside other All-Stars. Unfortunately, not every team in the league is lucky enough to have a player selected to compete in the game, and the Orlando Magic are one of those teams.

Orlando is in the midst of a complete rebuild after trading away former franchise star Dwight Howard. However, the Magic have already taken steps in the right direction by drafting Victor Oladipo, who appears to have the potential to be a future All-Star.

The Magic have not exactly been the best franchise out there, but the team has had some NBA greats pass through town. Mainly, the problem with the Magic is that the team has had trouble retaining these elite players. Being a small-market team definitely is a contributing factor as these teams do not make nearly as much money as teams such as the New York Knicks or Los Angeles Lakers. Thus, it is a much heavier burden to carry for small market teams to spend to the point where they are over the luxury tax.

Hopefully, the Magic are able to retain the services of Oladipo for many years so the team has something to build upon. With the group of players that Orlando has currently, Oladipo should stick around for a while as they all develop together. Though it will be an uphill battle, Orlando is certainly putting themselves in position to acquire another highly-coveted prospect in this year's draft.

Maybe in another 10 years, some more players from the Magic can make this list but as of today, here are the greatest Orlando Magic All-Stars of all time.

5. Rashard Lewis

All-Star Appearances with the Team: 1

When most people think of Rashard Lewis, they primarily think of him sitting on the bench with the Miami Heat, or how he was extremely overpaid while a part of the Magic. But at one time, Lewis was an extremely productive player. He was vital to the Magic's NBA Finals run in the 2008-09 season, when he was paired with Dwight Howard. Lewis was deadly from beyond the arc and he even led the team in points a couple times while in Orlando.

4. Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway

All-Star Appearances with the Team: 4

Penny Hardaway is a perfect example of a career ruined by injury. With the Magic, Hardaway seemed to be their point guard for many years to come, but many knee surgeries decided otherwise. However, while he was healthy, Hardaway was fantastic, averaging about 20 points and six assists per game in his four All-Star seasons. If he stayed healthy, the Magic may have been able to win a championship at some point.

3. Tracy McGrady

All-Star Appearances with the Team: 4

Tracy McGrady is known mostly for his stint with the Houston Rockets, but when he left the Toronto Raptors to play alongside Grant Hill on the Magic, McGrady was nasty. He never averaged below 25 points per game in a season while in Orlando as he just flooded the box score night in and night out. McGrady was able to make an All-Star appearance in all of his seasons with the Magic before being traded to the Rockets.

2. Dwight Howard

All-Star Appearances with the Team: 6

Dwight Howard earned his nickname "Superman" while playing on the Orlando Magic. He was one of the most feared centers to go up against on the court due to both his size and athleticism. Howard was the center of the Magic's NBA Finals run in 2009, absolutely dominating his opponents game after game. He developed into a 20 point and 14 rebound per game player, something that only a select number of players can accomplish. He is no doubt one of the best Orlando Magic players of all time.

1. Shaquille O'Neal

All-Star Appearances with the Team: 4

It is only logical to put Shaquille O'Neal at the top because he was such a dominant force directly out of college. In his first season in Orlando, Shaq averaged 23 points and 14 rebounds. He was elected to play in the All-Star game in every season with the team, including his rookie season. The league has never seen such an unstoppable player and probably will never again.
